  I just spent the last 45 minutes trying to pay my property tax bill online, filled out all required information and when it came to the pay page It went back and forth between schedule a payment and my log in info five times and no way to PAY. Rather than through a coffee mug into my computer screen, I have decided to NEVER in the future use any online payment to any part of the chaotic payment systems that Durham County has put in place. I tried for months to get my water bill able to be paid online with no success and then the water department hired someone to collect bills online. They required extensive personal and financial info to be supplied. which I did. Just before I am ready to hit the pay button, My screen says there is a fee to be paid to pay online. This should have been disclosed at the top of the first page, so all my personal info would not have been submitted. Durham county administration personal are the bottom of the barrel. Nothing but aggravation for residents trying to deal with them. I would have rated them lower if there was lower choice. Hard to believe these people are actually getting paid for a job performance that is below 0. Willis James
